General Fitness

Every week, Bloo House pupils are organised under the direction of professional coaches. Activities include traditional sports, such as football, touch rugby, netball and cricket including  general physical exercise and games.

These weekly sessions help children to develop concepts of teamwork, as well as encouraging co-ordination and overall fitness.

Golf

Bloo House offers children the chance to take up this amazing sport through lessons and rounds of golf. Professional coaching is provided on the school's beautiful golf course, located onsite.

In addition, golf helps children learn core values that are essential in life.

These include honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, perseverance, courtesy and judgement.

Yoga

Classes include helpful breathing, relaxation and visualisation techniques, improving children's concentration, capturing their imagination and helping them to feel more confident.

In support of our physical curriculum, our yoga classes combine traditional yoga postures, which are woven together into exciting adventures.

In the safety and familiarity of Bloo House, amongst their friends, children are taught weekly by our qualified yoga teacher.

Martial Arts

Kuk Sool Won™ is the systematic study of all traditional martial arts and seeks to integrate and explore all aspects of the traditional Korean martial arts. As a martial arts system it can help to improve fitness, confidence and concentration, relieve stress, and teach self-defence, all of which are so important today.

Chief Instructor, James Barker, is a 4th Degree Black Belt with 19 years of experience in the art and is also a fully qualified Secondary School Physical Education Teacher.
