Bloo House offers the elusive missing piece of the jigsaw that doesn’t exist within the mainstream school system. This is because we mix a solid academic grounding with an appreciation of childhood development. For many parents this is the ideal curriculum – providing the right environment for preparing their children to make choices and decisions for themselves as they grow through life.
The size of our school creates a family atmosphere in preference to the ‘factory farming’ environment of the conventional 30+ pupil class. And it’s because of our size that we are far more able to facilitate children in making the choices that better reflect their own family’s ethos and values.
Four day week
Bloo House parents enjoy the four-day school week as it fits with their own beliefs of work/life balance and they can spend more time together as a family or following individual pursuits, such as going to the museum, following sports, drama or music activities.
Parent/teacher collaboration
The Bloo House approach fully supports the parent/teacher dynamic that is necessary to raise a child to be part of today’s culture and world. Parents enjoy the feelings of security and trust this engenders and know that their children are being cared for by professionals, who share their values in a school environment that inspires happiness and an interest in learning. Parents know that their child will achieve their individual outcome as agreed with our teaching team.
